Congratulations to...Rachel is absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations to you and Stephen! I volunteer at a children's shelter and we occasionally take care of kids with Down's syndrome. Their achievements and unique gifts are awe-inspiring. When these kids get discouraged, I tell them about a young man with Down's syndrome who is an accomplished musician who plays 6 instruments, earned a black belt in martial arts, and is living independently with his wife. Here's a link to his story; it's very inspiring:
http://www.sujeet.com/biography.html

My niece was born with cerebral palsy and I've been through the process of asking "God, why her?" As a mom, I can only imagine how much more intense it is. Rachel couldn't have been any more blessed to have you and Stephen as her parents. She will bless the world in a way that no one else could. I'm praying for all 3 of you and I'd love to support you guys in any way that I can. Congratulations again on your beautiful little girl!
~ Meg FencilAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-453865880498528069.post-64655953868447319302009-09-22T09:08:55.069-04:002009-09-22T09:08:55.069-04:00Stephen has been amazing through this for you, and...Stephen has been amazing through this for you, and now you both are going to be great together for Rachel Jane!Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09342929705741275126noreply@blogger.com
