I thought I would actually take a second and make a list of the signs our Rachel girl knows:

Cereal
Sleepy
I think there are probably a couple more but I can't think of them right now. It's pretty cool to have listed them and see on paper the progress she has made in a year. When we first moved here, she knew "food' and "more". I wish she would sign "mama" and "dada" but for some reason she won't. She won't even try and they aren't even hard to sign. Maybe she's just waiting for the day she can say it. Maybe.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great list of signs. My sister signed for quite awhile. I taught Elizabeth some basic signs and will do the same thing for Harrison. I think it really helps to avoid the frustrated tantrums.
