Things have been quiet here lately. We've settled in to a nice routine and we are now able to venture out more in between naps and lunch. I have high hopes for this summer. But right now, we are just hanging out and enjoying the "easy".

Rachel loves her sand and water table!

Long torsos are perfect for bikinis!

There was water in the pool but it was a little too chilly for Rachel.

This kid is a goober. He loves to cheese for the camera!

Rachel likes to create piles on Charlie. Charlie can't quite escape yet.

8 Months!

The months keep flying by.....and Charlie keeps on growing! He has slept through the night the last two nights and can now get himself to sleep. (He's still in his bouncy seat, but that's another story...) We're working on solids. We stopped for two weeks because I was concerned he was getting a reaction. I'm kind of happy I did because he wasn't in to it before but after starting again this week, he's been pretty eager to eat. Yay! He still can't "feed" himself anything. When he tries to grab something to put in his mouth, he ends up squishing it in his fist which makes it nearly impossible for him to get it into his mouth. Oh well. I know he'll get it eventually! I tried to get a picture of Rachel and Charlie but that girl will NOT sit still. Sigh.

Hope You Had

a Hoppy Easter!

We did! Late morning I went out and "hid" some eggs for Rachel to find. She quickly picked up on putting the eggs in her basket. I was impressed! Later, we got the kids all dressed up in their Easter best and went over to a friends house for dinner. They were nice enough to invite us over. We don't have any family here so we really appreciated it. Rachel just liked playing in the sand.

Charlie got some smothering hugs. He wasn't too happy with it but he better get used to all the attention from the ladies!
It was a nice day. The weather was great and spending time together was welcomed.
